Getting lost seems to be a common scenario of mine…and today was no different! Stuck at the top of a mountain in the Palo Alto foothills; No phone service. No navigation. Nothing but primitive instincts were left to help us find our way. Eventually we made it to Matt and Katie’s picnic in the woods with their special guest Bjorn, a pint size adorable Pomeranian. Matt and Katie are very easy going, which made the photo shoot feel relaxed and comfortable, like spending a fun day with old friends. Our time together ended with a stroll along a lake shimmering in the sunset.

Are We Lost?!
As we drove along the road past a run-down mobile home park, we wondered if we were in the right place. But after turning the corner to see a sprawling 33,000 square foot estate, we decided we were right where we wanted to be. Our journey with Trina and Henry began at the Dolce-Hayes mansion; lovely grounds, not so lovely staff. We were greeted with a threat from security! Needless to say, my colleague (not to mention smooth-talker) Ken Scott was able to snag us a little time to capture some amazing moments. Henry and Trina braved all of our adventures with a smile and as you will see were very sweet with one another, and us! We spent the end of an exciting day in the rolling hills of gold watching the sun set over the mountains.
